Kamau Nyabwengi

Kamau Nyabwengi Kamau Nyabwengi, a visionary entrepreneur, is the Co-founder & CEO of the Young Entrepreneurs Network (YEN) Africa. YEN Africa is a networking platform that seeks to connect young innovative entrepreneurs to the knowledge, resources and social capital they need to succeed in business. YEN Africa does this through Events & Programs centered around entrepreneurship development for the youth.

Kamau has previous experience as a Start-up consultant, with focus on getting innovative products to market and innovating on business models. He has also been a coach for the Start-up Weekend Nairobi, The Mtaa Challenge and the Youth With Initiative Awards.

In 2013 Kamau was part of a two-man team that won the Young Innovators award AITEC Summit's Mobile Technology category with a road safety software solution Matserve Msafiri. He was also among the finalists in the 2014 Next Big Thing competition run by the Business Daily Kenya. He has experience in financial markets and forex trading and currently pursuing a course in Blockchain technology.

Kamau speaks in youth forums and has been invited to share his start-up journey and experiences in entrepreneurship in different gatherings including African Development Bank's East African Ministerial Conference on Jobs for Youth in Africa. He is also the Kenya Regional Partner for Faster Capital- a company that runs accelerator and incubation programs for IT start-ups.

Passionate about youth development in the continent, Kamau's vision is to help build the largest network of transformational entrepreneurs in Africa.
